The Velouté

An intense character, deep nuances. Discover our **Velouté**, from our "L'Outrenoir" collection, a Burned and subtly brushed Douglas Cladding.

This unique finish preserves all the warmth of the wood while enhancing its textures through controlled burning followed by delicate brushing, which reveals the Douglas grain without altering its original color.

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shou Sugi Ban, this technique offers a subtle effect where the wood retains its clear, natural, and luminous appearance, enriched by the depth created by fire. The result is a wooden cladding with a balanced and timeless style, perfect for understated, elegant architectures that blend seamlessly into their environment.

• A premium finish: controlled burning, artisanal brushing
• Applications: exterior façade, interior wall paneling, decorative architectural elements
• Benefits: durability, stability, contemporary aesthetics, eco-responsibility

Committed to the quality of our creations and the origin of our woods, we carry out rigorous sourcing through short supply chains and sustainably managed forests.
